This year 515 students from 40 schools from around the city competed in the 2018 CPS K-8 Chess Playoffs.This year was even more exhilarating with new schools and returning schools both aggressively competing to move forward to the CPS Championship. The top 3 teams & top 4 individuals not a part of team moving forward will advance to the championship.
