By offering summer programing we are able to extend the work we do throughout the school year.
Summer chess programs offer students a fun and rewarding opportunity to learn, play and to improve their game. Programs are offered at schools and community-based organization sites, helping to provide a safe, enjoyable, and educational activity for children around the city. Aside from bring cops and kids together, the Summer Program also offers college readiness workshops, college tours and specialized field trips.
Students are encouraged to participate in and become positive citizens in the community and to be advocates in their home communities as well as within their school communities.
