22 elementary chess teams from around the city competed in the inaugural 2019 CPS Kings & Queens tournament held in conjunction with the CPS H.S. Championship. There were approximately 260 students that competed in this exciting event. This tournament was exhilarating with schools aggressively competing for the crown. Along with the wonderful snow, we had volunteers from the community who came and supported the students. What a success and we look forward to next year’s event.
