We are the Premier Organizer of the Midwest

We organize and directs 25+ tournaments a year, including the Chicago Public Schools Playoffs and Championships, the monthly Knights Quest tournaments, the Greater Chicago K-12 (the Chicago City Championship), Cops & Kids, and the KCF All-Girls National Championships.

As an extension of the classroom program, tournaments are the motivation that encourages students and teachers to expect nothing less than mastery of the subject for them. In doing so, students develop their focus and concentration, deal with winning and losing in a safe environment, and experience the dynamics of teamwork. Students learn to perform under pressure, recognize weaknesses and develop good sportsmanship skills and perhaps the most striking outcome, however, is how the challenge of chess competition swells the students’ confidence and pride. Many of our students say that competition is their favorite part of our programs. It gives them an opportunity to test and showcase their skills in front of teachers, peers, and parents.
