CPS K-8 Online Championship Results

Congratulations to all the students that played in this years’ 2020 Chicago Public Schools K-8 Chess Championship online.  127 students from 19 school battled it out over the virtual chess board in two section for 5 rounds. At the end of the day Chris Sakaliyski, a 4^th grader from Edison, was the clear winner of the K-4 Section and Leon Cao, a 8^th graded from Whitney Young and Rhett Severns, a 7^th grader from Lane Tech, were the co-champions of the 5-8grade section.
